A quiz that is a bit of fun/end of topic assessment for evolution and inheritance in Year 6. It takes on the form of a Who Wants to be a Millionaire quiz with children competing individually, in teams or just doing it as a class as a bit of fun and a recap.

A template that is fully-hyperlinked and ready to use as a tool for assessing children's knowledge about any topic you are doing in a fun way. Simply insert the questions and answers where you wish, with it being highlighted which answer hyperlinks to the correct place.

Three Year 5 grids for below, at and expected standard for writing. These have been based on the national curriculum expectations as well as using the current interim Year 6 documents as a starting point for creating them.

List of coordinates that when done accurately creates a man with a tie, shirt and jacket on. I am using this myself for children to then colour in and add detail e.g. hair, jacket, tie and then stick on the front of a card that they will write in for fathers day. Can also just be used as an activity for practising coordinates.

May require you to have particular equipment in school which is why I have shared them for free. Youtube is a great added resource for showing professionals play and master different skills or for teaching yourself if you are low on confidence.

A Powerpoint that looks at the relationship between addition and subtraction and between multiplication and division. Useful as an introduction or a recap for children, exploring the links between operations as well as introducing algebraic links for children and the way in which the equals sign can move about fluidly. Includes questions for children to try and solve, with some being more complex than others.

A Powerpoint that looks at how to use the P.E and Sport Premium funding efficiently. It introduces the aims of the funding before providing different ideas of how the funding could be used whilst making sure that it is an efficient use. This includes looking at the use of coaches, working collaboratively and equipment before then discussing the importance of monitoring and how to ensure measureable impact.

10 practise Arithmetic papers with 20 questions in each to use for practise in Year 6 ahead of the new Key Stage 2 Arithmetic assessment. These questions have been formed by using the exemplar material and other practise papers released. These have then been used to look at the type of questions that appear regularly, with these then being tested regularly throughout the various tests. It will provide children with test practise as well as regularly being able to review what children understand and what they still need to work on.
